Never know what you'll find on these Inspections!

Getting real tired of builders telling people spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on houses they "don't allow pre-drywall inspections" or they are "for informational purposes only". Builders- YALL GONNA GET SUED FOR THAT 😂

✨✨PICTURE THIS✨✨
you buy a brand new house for you and your family to live in, you got your beautiful feral children running around wildly tearing up your new place and turning everything on, they turned the water on not knowing that it's almost lava coming out of it, and BAM- less than half a second they have burned themselves.

170° water is actually crazy. I know all the moron trolls in the comments will just say something about "why don't you turn the water heater down then" 🤡

What if you would've never inspection gotten an inspection I told you the water heater was egregiously hot and you or your kids had to find out the hard way? It happens all the time.

Boise, take a look! When Idaho has the fastest growing new construction market in the country it's important we pay close attention to what we are investing in. It's no doubt that the Treasure Valley has gotten extremely expensive to live in so it's even more important that we make sure we are getting what we pay for! Since we all love money so much, let me continue to show you how a new construction inspection pays for itself.

New build- the contractor KNEW it was being installed wrong, continued to do it, then tries to put enough sealant on it to make up for the negligence. But the gap is so big they could not even fill it with enough tar to cover up their laziness. I understand when things can get broken or missed on new construction, because we are all human and can make mistakes. But THIS is a different level. It's going to be real nice when we get our snow here in Boise and the homeowner decides to turn their fireplace on and all the snow piled up against it melts down into the attic.

With so much growth in Boise, Idaho and the rest of the Treasure Valley, we are doing a majority of the new construction inspections. First and foremost the purpose of an inspection is to make sure there's nothing major wrong with the house that can be uncovered during a typical home inspection process. But here at Peek Inspections, we take a step further and implement a lot of quality control. A lot of our Internet soldiers out here like to think all we do is blue tape but when you start putting price tags on all of the "unimportant sh**" home inspectors put in a report it adds up fast!

This might be the most gas I've ever smelled walking up to a meter. Three leaks on one meter is crazy. Go mix some dish soap and water then please go spray all your fittings at your meter. If you see bubbles, call the gas company!

What's your thoughts on this?

This house was just a few days away from all of these problems being covered up completely. The house should have already been wrapped but once it gets its wrap, flashing, and siding there would have been tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage covered up. Ironically enough, this house had one of the best views in Boise, but some of the worst windows I've ever seen. Believe it or not, custom homes consistently have the worst inspection reports. Get those inspections! If you're in Idaho give us a call!
