After 15 years, another familiar Downtown Delray restaurant is saying goodbye.

It's Park Tavern, just off Atlantic Avenue on Southeast Second Avenue.

And this Sunday, October 18, is reportedly its final day.

For years, Park Tavern has been a neighborhood favorite.

Happy hours, Sunday brunch, meeting friends for dinner...

It's one of those places that became part of the Downtown Delray experience.

And it's not the only familiar restaurant we've said goodbye to this year.

Cut 432, Lefkes, and True Vegan have also closed.

Now, we don't know why Park Tavern is closing.

But it does raise an interesting question about the future of Downtown Delray.

As our downtown continues to evolve, how do we preserve the places that give it character?

Almost any city is showing their Months of Supply down, Sold-to-List ratio UP, and notations that we're in a seller's market again.

But here's the biggie: the number of luxury sales in places like Delray Beach are UP 25% Year-over-Year. That's been my #1 theme for 2026.
