Pahokee Health & Rehabilitation Center Welcomes Leila Chambers as the New License Nursing Home Administrator.

We are elated to announce that Leila Chambers has rejoined our team as the new Facility Administrator. With more than 32 years experience in long-term care, Leila brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and dedication to providing exceptional care to residents. Her return marks am exciting new chapter for our facility as we continue strengthening our commitment to quality healthcare and compassionate service throughout Palm Beach County and the Glades community.

A native of the Glades area, Leila was born and raised in the community she proudly now serve. She attended Florida A&M University and Barry University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Administration. Her extensive professional background and passion for long-term care have shaped her commitment to operational excellence, resident-centered care, and the development of strong healthcare teams.

Leila has remained actively involved in professional leadership and community service. She is a proud member of the Florida A&M University Alumni Band Association, Iota Omicron Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Florida Health Care Association Future Leaders. and also served for two years ( 2022-2024) as the President of Florida Health Care Association District VII.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, everyone can play a role in encouraging the women in their lives to prioritize their breast health. Know the signs, encourage regular screenings, and remind the women you care about to talk with a health care provider about what screening is right for them.

If you or someone you care about needs help accessing care, your local county health department can connect eligible women with free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screening services.
