Being under contract doesn’t always mean you’re stuck. You may have options to walk away, BUT you need to know your contingency deadlines and what your contract says.

The goal is to get you to the closing table 🔑, but things happen! Maybe the inspection brings up some issues or your financing changes and you no longer qualify.

Just know that walking away isn’t always consequence-free. You could risk losing your earnest money deposit or face other consequences depending on your contract.

Moral of the story? Know your options, ask questions, and don’t just assume you can back out whenever. 👏🏽
