🏡 Being a landlord sounds easy… until it's not. 😂

Buy a rental property. Find a tenant. Collect rent. Easy, right?

Well, that is until the air conditioner decides to quit in July, a maintenance emergency happens on a Saturday, or you realize there's a whole lot more paperwork involved than you expected.

That's where we come in! 🔑

At Elliott Realty & Property Management, we handle the not-so-glamorous side of rental properties so our owners don't have to tackle everything alone.

From marketing and leasing to maintenance coordination and routine inspections, there's a lot happening behind the scenes!

And trust us, there's never a dull day in property management. 😉

Here's a question for our fellow landlords: What's one thing you wish you knew BEFORE owning your first rental property?

🚨 PSA: RENTAL SCAM ALERT! 🚨

We want to make everyone aware of a scam involving rental properties, including some of our own listings!

Unfortunately, scammers are taking legitimate rental listings and using them to trick people into paying application fees before they can even view the property.

⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER: Elliott Realty & Property Management does NOT require you to pay an application fee just to schedule a showing or view one of our properties!

If someone is asking you to send money before they will let you see a property, that is a major red flag! 🚩

We understand how stressful finding a rental can already be, and the last thing anyone needs is to lose their hard-earned money to a scammer.

If you come across one of our listings and something doesn't seem right, please reach out to us directly! We are always happy to verify a listing and make sure you're speaking with the right people.

❤️ Please share this post! Even if you're not currently looking for a rental, someone you know might be. We want to help keep our community from falling victim to these scams!

🏡🍂 DID YOU KNOW WEDNESDAY?

💡 Did you know that changing your ceiling fan's direction can actually help keep your home warmer during the colder months?

Yep! Your ceiling fan isn't just for summer! 🤯

❄️ Winter: Set your fan to spin clockwise on a low speed. This helps circulate warm air that collects near the ceiling.

☀️ Summer: Set it to spin counterclockwise to create a cooling breeze.

It's a simple little trick that can help make your home more comfortable year-round!
