Fostering lasting life-change in the lives of men, women, and children struggling with trauma, addiction and homelessness.

We believe that "Grace Changes Everything" Life change begins with the basics for the underserved in our community. One meal, one shower, one pair of shoes is the beginning of hope for the hopeless. Along with the “Basics,” change begins with connection. Shepherd’s House Ministries provides a loving, grace-filled community leading to transforming growth. We believe lives can change within a loving, grace-filled community that reflects our relationship with Jesus, is grounded in God’s grace, and leads to a life of authenticity, vulnerability, and transforming growth through dependence on God and interdependence on one another. Shepherd’s House Ministries provides a healing environment that is a confessing community where grace flows freely, forgiveness and redemption are experienced, people feel safe, authenticity is the norm, trust flourishes, successes are celebrated, people choose personal responsibility, and protective love is an everyday lifestyle. Our long-term program is built around a nine month to two year, six phase program that has proven to be very effective in helping people break the cycle of homelessness, pain, and hopelessness.

Today we mourn alongside the Silver Rail Elementary community. Like so many businesses, organizations, and families across Bend, members of our own community have been personally touched by this tragedy. Our hearts are heavy as we pray for every Silver Rail family, grieve alongside those who are hurting, and stand together as a community, in love and support.
