Another big milestone: the hardwood floors in Units 2 and 4 are finished!
The floors have been repaired, patched, leveled where needed, sanded down and refinished! …and we gotta admit, we think they’re looking pretty sweet.
Preserving as much of the original character of this building as possible has always been important to us. In this case, that meant working with the hardwood that was already here: replacing damaged sections, patching holes, correcting uneven areas and ultimately refinishing everything to bring these floors back to life.
A huge thank you to Ron Muir and his crew for all the work that went into them, and to Nate Boggs at Benchmark Flooring for connecting us with Ron and helping make it happen.
Units 2 and 4 are both two-bedroom, one-bath apartments, each with its own sunroom overlooking Horace White Park. They’re the first two of what will ultimately be five apartments, with plenty of work already underway in Units 1, 3 and 5 as they follow close behind.
There’s still plenty to do, but getting these floors finished is another big step forward.
And because we know the two questions will be asked: When can I move in? How much will they be? 😄
We’re not quite ready to answer those yet. We’re working extremely hard to open our doors this fall, and we’ll share availability, pricing and more details as those decisions are finalized. In the meantime, we encourage you to join our mailing list at FrancisApollo.com to stay in the loop!
It’s our sincere goal to create a place that our community is going to love. Thanks to everyone who has been following along, asking questions, sharing encouraging words. Stay tuned!
