I’m constantly reminding myself…
💕Everything doesn’t need an immediate response. 💕You can say no without a long explanation. 💕You can love people and still set boundaries. 💕You don’t have to finish everything on your list before you deserve a moment of peace.
You can pause, catch your breath, and keep going💪🏾

This time, filling my cup looked like Puppy Yoga New Orleans in New Orleans with my mini me!
I love yoga and she loves puppies, so this was absolutely PAWSOME🐾😂 (I’m really a cornball, I know)😂

And let me just say, I love living in Ascension Parish because New Orleans sees me on a weekly basis😭🤣 I really need to start sharing more fun things to do from Baton Rouge to New Orleans and everything in between💕 because we have so many cool things right here in Louisiana!

One thing I’ve learned is that faith doesn’t mean you have to know exactly how everything is going to work out…sometimes it means trusting God enough to take the first step, even when you can’t see the whole picture yet 🙏🏾❤️

“Do you really think this will happen?” 🥹
K’Sha asked me that when I called to tell her and Dexter they were conditionally approved.
My response? “Girl, start packing!!” 🤣📦

A little homebuying education 📚 Quick lesson: Conditional approval means the lender has reviewed your income, credit, and assets and says YES to your loan, as long as a few final items are checked off. Think appraisal, updated pay stubs, or a letter of explanation. It’s a huge milestone and a sign you’re almost at the finish line!🔑
Then she got quiet… emotions started taking over. The possibility of their family having a home was starting to feel REAL. ❤️
I told her, “If I know one thing, I know we gone get to that table. Start packing!!” 🙌🏾

And a couple of weeks later… HERE WE ARE!! 🏡🎉
Dexter you worked so hard for your beautiful family and you were determined to do everything you could to get your family into a home, and K’Sha you were right there making sure you all stayed on top of everything.

Watching them work toward this together was such a blessing.
This is why I love what I do. I get to witness the excitement, the nerves, and that moment when “Do you really think this will happen?” becomes “We really did this!” 🥹❤️

Dexter and K’Sha, thank y’all for trusting me to guide your family to the closing table. May your home be filled with love, laughter, peace, and memories your family will cherish for years!

✨ Rejection is redirection 🙏🏾💫

I’ve learned this SO many times throughout my real estate career. There have been moments where I thought, “Man… this one would’ve been perfect for them.” And then later, I get to see exactly why that door didn’t open 🥹❤️

It’s easy to get discouraged when something you really wanted doesn’t work out. But just because something didn’t happen the way you expected doesn’t mean it’s not working out in your favor.

Sometimes you have to trust that what’s ahead is better than what you were trying so hard to hold onto 👏🏾🏡❤️So if you’re in a season of disappointment right now… don’t give up!

Keep moving, keep praying, and keep trusting God with the process 🙏🏾✨ You NEVER know what He’s redirecting you toward!
