LAGC held a hybrid Safety committee meeting to update members (both in-person & virtually) on the latest safety practices. On the heels of 811's 50th anniversary (https://www.wafb.com/video/2026/04/14/safe-digging-month-highlights-louisiana-811s-50-years-service/), Brent Saltzman , shared new changes in the dig laws. We also heard from who showcased the latest in safety wear, followed by an open forum where members discussed topics on the forefront of their daily activities.

Alexandria Catch Up & Connect -June 18th, 2026

Yesterday's impromptu Alexandria Catch-Up & Connect Luncheon exceeded every expectation. What started as a simple opportunity together quickly, it turned into a full house event, bringing together familiar faces, new connections, and great conversation. Thanks to an unexpected shift in the weather, schedules, opened up and created the perfect opportunity for members and guests to come together. It was a great reminder that some of the best moments have an unplanned, and that the strength of our industry is built not only through projects, but through the relationships and connections we continue to foster along the way.
