Big news for South Baton Rouge! Umami Japanese Bistro is opening a second location at 1 Smart Way, in the former Tsunami Sushi space near Highland Road and Bluebonnet Boulevard.

Since opening its original location on Burbank Drive in 2016, Umami has become a local favorite for creative sushi rolls, fresh sashimi, premium seafood, and wagyu beef.

Now, south Baton Rouge diners will have another spot to enjoy one of the area’s popular Japanese restaurants!
