8 years ago today, I was homeless.
I was showering at Planet Fitness, trying to figure out what my life was going to become.
I grew up in church. I knew the songs. I heard the sermons. I knew about Jesus.
But I wanted to know Him for myself.
And on that day, Jesus became real to me.
I made a decision:
I wasn’t going to settle.
I was going to take responsibility for my life, go after the dreams God had put in my heart, and tell people along the way that He’s real, He’s calling you, and He loves you.
A few days later, I discovered real estate.
I learned that opportunity exists wherever there are problems that need to be solved.
So I got to work.
I found a company that taught me the business. I learned, failed, got back up, and eventually started building something of my own.
Best Home Offer was born.
Then life gave me another assignment: a family.
Having kids exposed a lot of flaws in me that I couldn’t ignore anymore.
I realized that if I was going to accomplish the dreams I had, my leadership journey had to start with me.
I had to become a better man.
Because now I had kids watching me.
So I started surrounding myself with great people—people whose vision and mission aligned with mine. People who believe in service, excellence, and building something bigger than themselves.
The last 8 years have brought failures, victories, hard lessons, and battles I never expected.
But they’ve also made me battle-tested.
And today?
I have momentum.
My vision has never been more alive.
I’m still building Best Home Offer.
I’m still building my family.
I’m still becoming the leader I know I’m called to be.
And I’m documenting the journey.
The houses.
The business.
The failures.
The wins.
The faith.
The lessons.
Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned in 8 years, it’s this:
Your current situation doesn’t have to be your final destination.
If you’re building something from nothing, trying to become a better version of yourself, or simply believing God has more for your life—
follow along.
And tell me:
What happened in your life that forced you to grow?
