His experience includes owning
a local franchise for the largest home buyer in the United States, buying and
selling multiple properties on a monthly basis. These roles have put him on
both sides of deals hundreds of times; skills that translate to current clients,
allowing them to reach their real estate goals: Whether moving in or out of a high-demand neighborhood, relocating to Austin or requir
ing assistance with a challenging sale. John serves on the Board of Directors for the Austin Board of Realtors (ABOR). He has taught negotiation strategy and buying and selling techniques to the
Austin real estate community and holds the Certified Negotiation Expert
(CNE), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSI)
and Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designations. Prior to focusing on real estate, John spent 16 years in communications and
marketing positions for technology companies and public affairs
organizations. He earned a BA in government from Georgetown University in
Washington, DC. John is actively involved with the Meals on Wheels Groceries
to Go program and SAFE. John grew up in Tucson, AZ and lives in Austin with
his family
