…catching up with the posts b/c I’m actually not a fan of social media, but some of y’all think if we don’t post, we’re not still slanging houses. For the record, we also don’t post pics of ourselves at the gym.

This chic nearly-new east side house lived like a TRUE single family residence in prime 78702. We knew it wouldn’t last long, and we were right. Got it on an off-market tour before we went to the MLS, and the buzz resulted in heavy interest before we hit the market. It was a little bittersweet taking this house full circle from helping with the purchase, and then again on the sale 5 years later.

We knew somebody would fall in love with this house. It was very well cared for, and (I know this sounds weird) when you walked into it, it had no smell. I have never experienced that before in a house before…just a complete absence of scent because the owners were *so* meticulous, they even steamed their broccoli in the garage so it wouldn’t make the house smell. < I learned that information after I made a comment about the absence of smells in the home.

Having bought at the peak of COVID has been rough for a lot of folks who are needing to sell right now. It requires a lot of uncomfortable and honest conversations with where the market is currently.
