This time, Return on Lifestyle mattered most.
Five years ago, I had the privilege of helping Reyn purchase his home on Silent Harbor Loop in Pflugerville.
Recently, he called me again.
He was ready for a lifestyle change and wanted to talk about selling.
My first instinct wasn’t to put a sign in the yard.
Given the market, waiting was something I wanted him to seriously consider. But before I can advise a client well, I have to understand the why behind the move.
So I listened.
We talked about the market, the challenges we could face, his expectations, and most importantly, what he wanted his life to look like on the other side of the sale.
Once I understood his goals, it became clear that moving forward made sense for him.
So we created a plan.
Reyn understood that selling in this market could take time. He had realistic expectations, trusted the process, and had the patience to wait for the right buyer.
A few months later, we found one who saw the value in his home.
And now Reyn gets to move forward with the lifestyle change that started this whole conversation. 🙌🏾
In real estate, we talk a lot about ROI, Return on Investment. And the numbers absolutely matter.
But they’re not always the whole story.
Sometimes the more important return is ROL, Return on Lifestyle.
More freedom. A different pace. A new area. More time with family and friends. A life that looks a little more like the one you actually want to live.
Real estate should serve your life, not the other way around.
Reyn, thank you for trusting me five years ago and trusting me again today. I’m grateful to have helped you close this chapter, and I’m even more excited to be part of what comes next. 🙏🏾
Every move starts with a conversation. Let’s talk.
