Round Top season is here! And while I haven't made the trip myself yet, I've heard so many great things that it's definitely on my list!

The 2026 Fall Antiques & Design Show runs now until Oct. 31, turning this small Texas town into a destination for antique lovers, designers, and anyone who enjoys finding something a little different.

Just about 90 minutes from Austin, Round Top is known for its incredible selection of antiques, vintage furniture, European finds, art, clothing, and home decor. But it's not all shopping! Restaurants, live music, pop-ups, and special events make it a fun fall getaway.

A few things worth knowing before you go:

• Plan your stops ahead of time. The show is spread across multiple venues, and each has its own schedule.

• Wear comfortable shoes. There's a lot of walking, and many shopping areas are outdoors.

• Bring measurements. If you're shopping for furniture, know your dimensions before falling in love with something!

• Make dining reservations. Restaurants can get busy during show season.

• Leave room in your car. You never know what you might find, and some vendors may offer shipping for larger purchases.

• Consider staying overnight. There's plenty to explore, and trying to fit everything into one day can be a challenge.

I've heard Round Top is one of those experiences that's worth visiting at least once, even if you're just browsing!
