Austell wasn’t always Austell.
In 1872 this land was deeded to the Cincinnati and Georgia Railroad, and the town that grew up here was called Cincinnati Junction — the point where the line heading west to Birmingham met the line heading north to Chattanooga. This whole place exists because paths crossed here.
The six brick buildings on Broad Street carry that name again. We’re in them, next to Frog Rock Brewing.
So we’re starting something called The Junction. Third Wednesday of every month, 7pm.
Three people get eight minutes each to share what they’re working on — a business, a project, a club, a cause — and every one of them ends with one specific ask. A referral, an intro, a first hire. Whatever they actually need. Your job in the room is to listen for the one you can answer.
Before that, a five-minute how-to you can use the next morning. After, a tour and open networking with the coffee shop and brewery open.
Free. October 21. Doors at 6:30.
