One of the advantages of residential real estate is the flexibility it can provide over time. A home can be a place to live, an asset to sell, or, in the right circumstances, an investment property that generates rental income.

We recently helped an owner at Vinings Overlook prepare and market their townhome, successfully securing a tenant at the full asking rent.

Our role went beyond finding a tenant. We helped advise the owner along the way, coordinate the details, and manage the process from listing through lease ex*****on, allowing them to stay focused on everything else competing for their time.

That’s an important part of how we think about our role. Our work isn’t limited to helping someone buy or sell a home. We want to be a long-term real estate resource for our clients, helping them evaluate their options and navigate the practical details as their needs change over time.

Much of the work in real estate happens well before a home is bought or sold.

I’ve been out showing homes, helping buyers evaluate opportunities, marketing a rental, and talking with clients who are still in the early stages of deciding what their next move might look like.

This mid-century modern living room was one of the more memorable spaces I’ve shown recently. The soaring wood ceiling, exposed beams, stone fireplace and wall of glass overlooking the backyard and bringing in natural light made this one particularly interesting to experience in person.

There are a lot of factors that go into any real estate decision, and that’s where good advice matters. With buyers, we point out the good, the bad and sometimes the ugly, helping them understand value and decide whether a property truly fits their needs and goals. With sellers, we provide honest feedback and help position their home for the strongest possible result.
