My first question is always, “What would make the biggest difference for you?” If you want more homes to choose from, spring may be worth the wait. If help with closing costs would make your move possible, a home that’s been sitting since summer might be worth touring . 🍂

❄️ In winter, fewer buyers may mean more room to negotiate. Ask whether the seller would contribute to closing costs or a rate buydown.

🌷 In spring, you may see more homes hit the market. Get your preapproval ready so you can make an offer when the right one shows up.

☀️ In summer, pay attention to how long each home has been listed. A home on its first weekend can call for a different offer than one that’s been on the market for two months.

The best time to buy is when the home, the monthly payment, and the move all make sense for you. 💕
