When the buyers were introduced to Raquel in November 2024, the plan was to sell their two-bedroom, one bathroom condo because they had outgrown the space. It was purchased when one of the buyers was single, and now married with a young baby, they wanted to cash out on the equity in the condo and use the funds towards the down payment on a new home. The condo was listed with another agent, and Raquel was going to work with them on the purchase transaction. Well, the condo didn't sell with the first agent. Another agent was hired, who promised an interested, willing and able buyer, however they were not able to deliver. Raquel stepped in and listed the condo, however even she could not get it sold without feeling like it was being given away. In the midst of Raquel having it listed, the seller/owner was granted a rental permit and then helped get the condo rented.
Although they wanted to sell, Raquel encouraged them to look at the bright side that the lease frees up some of their debt-to-income ratio and allows them to hold onto the equity a little longer while building equity in their new home.
This home emerged after viewing several homes and the main appeal was the neighborhood and all the amenities it has for their growing family.
