🥫 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
💃 1/2 cup salsa (mild or medium)
🧂 1/2 tsp cumin
🧄 1/2 tsp garlic powder
🥣 1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
🧀 1/2 cup shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
🫒 Garnishes: Sliced black olives (for tiny spiders!), fresh cilantro, or diced jalapeños
🌮 Tortilla chips or blue corn chips (for extra dark Halloween vibes!)
Instructions
🌀 Blend: In a food processor or blender, combine black beans, salsa, cumin, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth.
🍽️ Layer: Spread the bean mixture evenly onto a shallow serving plate or bowl. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the outer edge.
🕸️ Web It: Spoon sour cream into a small ziplock bag and snip off a tiny corner. Pipe 3 to 4 concentric circles on top of the dip. Drag a toothpick from the center circle outward to create a web design!
🕷️ Decorate: Cut a black olive in half for a spider body, and slice extra pieces for legs. Place your olive spiders on the web.
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite dark blue or orange tortilla chips!
