He had nothing and still did the right thing.

In Kansas City, a homeless man named Billy Ray Harris returned a 4,000 dollar diamond engagement ring after it was accidentally dropped into his donation cup. The ring belonged to Sarah Darling, who realized what had happened only after it was gone.

Moved by his honesty, Darling and her husband later launched a GoFundMe campaign to thank him. The fundraiser raised over 190,000 dollars, allowing Harris to buy a home, purchase a car, and reconnect with family members after years of homelessness.
