I don't typically publish reviews but this one made me laugh. It's actually from an agent I had a transaction with. I think it is spot on. What do you think?

Hi Nancy,
You're doing great work and other agents are talking about it. Here's what they're saying:
"Nancy was wonderful to work with. No messing around - gets the job done. And most importantly - communication was great!" -Brett S.

The Board of Supervisors on Thursday voted to move ahead with planning for an expanded widening of Rt. 15 north of Leesburg, one that would create a four-lane, median-divided road from the Leesburg Bypass to the north side of Lucketts. The endorsement of the $217.3 million program came over the o

Good advice for those 2nd story windows.
04/18/2019

Good advice for those 2nd story windows.

Warm weather has returned to Loudoun County and the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System remind parents to be careful when they leave windows open to let in the fresh air and enjoy the warmer temperatures.

In recent years, emergency personnel in #Loudoun have responded to incidents where small children have fallen from multiple stories after leaning against window screens that gave way. Serious incidents such as these are an often-overlooked safety issue for children.

The National Safety Council offers these tips to protect children from window falls:

• Keep windows closed and locked when children are around.

• Only open windows that children cannot access.

• Avoid placing furniture near windows to prevent children from climbing.

• Do not rely on insect screens to prevent a window fall.

• Enforce rules to keep children away from playing near windows or patio doors
.
Residents are also encouraged to buy small wind-up devices, if you don’t have cordless window coverings, to gather window cords and elevate them out of a child’s reach. These cords can result in injury or even death if a child becomes entangled.

For more safety tips, please visit https://www.nsc.org/home-safety/safety-topics/child-safety/window-safety for information from the National Safety Council website on window safety.

Turn overdue books into food for the hungry April 8-14

Forgetting to return a book on time: It happens. Now the library is giving you a chance to pay off late fees and help our community at the same time with the third annual Food for Fines drive. For every nonperishable food item donated between Monday, April 8 and Sunday, April 14, we’ll deduct $1 from your overdue fees. Donations will be accepted at all nine LCPL branches during regular hours to benefit Loudoun Hunger Relief. Items most in need include:

• Breakfast cereal
• Canned meats (such as tuna and chicken)
• Rice
• Dry beans
• Canned tomato products
• Fruit in juice (either single-serve or larger cans)

Don't have any fines? You're still welcome to donate! This food stays right here in Loudoun County, so you're directly helping your neighbors and coworkers.

Last year, Food for Fines collected 8,908 pounds of food and waived more than $8,600 in overdue fees. We hope you'll help us make 2019's drive even bigger and better!
