Project Profile: Lapiz Flats - Grand Prairie, TX
Located near Waggoner Park in the City of Grand Prairie, Lapiz Flats is a three-story, 69-unit mixed-income community designed for residents ages 55 and older. Developed through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, the project helps expand affordable housing options for the area's growing senior population.

mma was proud to provide civil engineering and surveying services in partnership with Saigebrook Development | O-SDA Industries.

Projects like Lapiz Flats highlight the impact of collaboration between developers, engineers, and municipalities in bringing much-needed housing opportunities to our communities.

It was great to see city and industry leaders come together to discuss the growth, investment, and redevelopment shaping Arlington’s future.

As the City of Arlington, TX - City Hall celebrates its 150th anniversary, mma is proud to celebrate this milestone as a legacy firm and the role this legacy has played in helping shape the city we call home. To mark the occasion, we sat down with our founders - Herman Veselka and Cliff Mycoskie - to hear what Arlington looked like in mma's early days and how it grew into the entertainment and commerce hub it is today.

Project Spotlight: Splash Island at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor - Arlington, TX

This 58,000 SF family water play expansion features a three-story play structure, 110 interactive water features, 17 slides, a massive splash pad, and a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket — a high-energy destination for kids and families, alongside upgraded cabanas, dining, shade, and landscaping park-wide.

mma partnered with Quorum Architects Inc. and Six Flags Over Texas, providing surveying and civil engineering services for the project. Take a look at the finished project here:

Capturing an aerial photo of a large group formed into numbers is hard enough. Now add the challenge of shaping that same group into the City of Arlington, TX - City Hall's 150th anniversary logo — that takes serious planning.

The Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation trusted mma's technology and expertise to map out the formation and pull off the shot. Take a look at how it turned out — pure precision!
