🏡 You can change the house… but you can’t change its location! 📍

Before you fall in love with a home and put in an offer, take a walk around the neighborhood! 🚶‍♀️

You can update the kitchen, remodel the bathrooms, replace the flooring, and even change the landscaping.

But one thing you CAN’T change? The neighborhood your home sits in!

💡 My advice? Visit at different times of the day. Walk the streets. Check out the traffic, noise, and overall feel of the area.

Because you’re not just buying a house. You’re choosing where you’re going to live. ❤️

Real estate doesn't pause for migraines, but I've learned how to work smarter when my head says no. My work-from-home survival list 👇

🕶️ Dim the lights and turn screen brightness way down
💧 Keep a big water bottle within reach
📋 Cut the to-do list to the top 3 must-dos
📞 Swap video calls for phone calls when I can
⏱️ Work in short bursts with screen breaks in between
🧊 Keep a cold pack on the back of my neck
🔕 Silence the notifications that can wait

One minute you’re reaching for a hoodie, and by lunchtime you’re wondering why you didn’t wear shorts! ☀️🥶

Between the unpredictable temperatures, surprise windstorms, and sunshine that doesn’t know it’s October, living in the High Desert definitely keeps you guessing!

Thinking about leaving Los Angeles or Orange County for the High Desert?

If you’ve been wondering whether moving to Apple Valley, Hesperia, or Victorville is worth it, the answer really depends on the lifestyle you’re looking for.

LA and Orange County offer incredible restaurants, entertainment, beaches, and career opportunities.

But the High Desert offers something many Southern California buyers are searching for: more house for their money, larger properties, room for RVs and toys, beautiful mountain views, and a little more breathing room.

Of course, there’s a tradeoff. If you work in LA or Orange County, the commute can be significant. But for buyers who work remotely, are retiring, or simply want more space, the High Desert may be worth exploring.
