We paired a beautiful marble backsplash with quartz countertops to balance everyday practicality with a high-end feel. Unlike marble, quartz is nonporous, meaning you don’t have to worry about that red w**e spill soaking into your countertops. 🍷

In this week’s Behind the Design, Abby walks us through how we took classic 3x6 white subway tile and gave it a more elevated, custom look—all while keeping the budget in check.

The secret? It’s all in the details. We used a coordinating tile profile to create a picture-frame border around the shower niche and matching pencil trim in place of traditional Schluter edging for a more polished, timeless finish.
