November is here, and our neighborhood has some intriguing events this week. On Saturday, George Washington Middle School Art Therapy students are hosting an Art Market at Carlyle Square, Gadsby's Tavern Museum is holding a "Grown-Up Field Trip," and Del Ray is hosting the City of Alexandria Veterans' Day ceremony. Additionally, our great farmers' markets and local restaurants are serving up fall flavors all around Del Ray and Old Town. Hope to see you out there!

The Howell Haunt, created by a young local resident and running strong since 2023, is a Del Ray tradition that supports a great cause. This weekend and next Friday, stop by 303 East Howell Ave, where a $3 donation gets you a walk through "Pine Hollow Mental Institute," a fabricated story sure to give some chills. All proceeds benefit Save the Children Charity. This is such a fun way to support our community and support a great nonprofit at the same time! 🧟‍♂️🧛‍♂️👻
