Here's the progress update for August:

• Soil excavated and removed: 347,750 m³
• Piles drilled: 2,360 piles
• Structural concrete poured: 28,768 m³

• Building A1: Work continues on the basement slab structure.
• Building A2.2, Zone 1: Work continues on the 4th-floor slab structure.
• Building A2.2, Roof Zone: Planter box casting is in progress.
• Building A3.1: Reinforcement and post-tensioning system installation is in progress for the 5th-floor slab.
• Building A3.2: Work continues on the basement structures.
• Building A4: Work on the stair structure continues.
• Building A5: Texture painting has commenced on the 5th floor. MEP works continue on the 4th floor. Wall plastering is in progress on the 3rd floor.
• Building BM1: Foundation works are ongoing.
• Building BM2, Zone 2: Scaffolding and formwork installation are in progress for the 1st-floor slab.
• Building ME1: Foundation and reinforced concrete wall works are ongoing.
• Building B1: Pile drilling continues.
• Building B8: Work continues on the basement floor slab and reinforced concrete walls.
• Building B9: Foundation works are ongoing.

Responsible construction begins long before the buildings take shape.

It can be found in the decisions that are not always visible in architectural renders: working with the natural terrain and rainwater, assessing future traffic, choosing experienced local partners, and improving infrastructure used by the wider community.

In this carousel, we look at how these principles are being applied at Layan Verde — from the Environmental Impact Assessment process and a new drainage collector to measurable EDGE performance targets and the development’s future landscape.

The project is inseparable from its surroundings. Its architecture follows the natural contours of the land, allowing the building to become part of the landscape.

One principle guided the design: the views come first.

Every apartment was carefully tested to ensure that greenery, terraces and open views remain part of everyday life. Private gardens and pools create a sense of seclusion, while carefully considered layouts offer both uninterrupted views and privacy from neighbouring residences.

The ambition is to create a home away from home — a place that feels comfortable and deeply connected to its surroundings. When you pass by Layan Verde, you will barely notice the building at all.
