11 ka Balay Hurot og Kaugdaw sa Sunog sa Loon; 18 ka Pamilya Apektado

Dose (12) ka panimalay ang apektado diin onse (11) niini ang hingpit nga naugdaw sa dihang miulbo ang usa ka sunog sa Purok 3, Brgy. Napo, sa lungsod sa Loon pasado alas 8:10 sa buntag karong adlawa, Septiyembre 1, 2026.

Gikataho sa BFP LOON atol sa pakighinabi sa Dytr News nga moabot sa 18 ka pamilya ang apektado ug nawad-an og pinuy-anan sa maong insidente, apan dako ang pasalamat sa mga awtoridad tungod kay walay natala nga nakalas o naangol (negative casualty).

Dali kaayo nga nikuyanap ang kalayo tungod kay ginama sa light materials ang mga balay, dikit-dikit ang sitwasyon sa lugar, ug gidugangan pa sa kusog nga hangin. Daling niresponde ang Loon Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) pinaagi sa pag-deploy sa ilang duha ka firetrucks, ug nagpadala usab og dugang pwersa ang Maribojoc BFP aron pagtabang sa pagkontrolar sa kalayo.

Sa pagkakaron, wala pa ma-establisar ang kinatibuk-ang kantidad sa structural damage sa maong sunog.

Base sa inisyal nga imbestigasyon sa Loon BFP, nagsugod ang kalayo sa usa ka balay diin adunay usa ka estudyante nga nag-board.

Sumala pa sa taho gikan sa caretaker sa maong residential house, nabatasan na sa estudyante nga magbilin og mga appliances nga nag-andar o nakasaksak, hinungdan nga siya na lamang ang kanunay nga magtangtang o mag-unplug niini matag buntag.

Padayon pa ang lawom nga imbestigasyon sa kabomberohan aron sutaon ang opisyal nga hinungdan sa maong trahedya.

JUST IN: The earthquake caused the separation of Leyte, Samar, and a portion of Bohol grid from the Cebu-Negros-Panay grid per the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.

As of 11 p.m., NGCP identified damage to its Daanbantayan Substation, located near the earthquake epicenter, and recorded the tripping of four 230kV transmission lines in Visayas.

Aerial and foot inspection and restoration of lines in the affected areas will commence as soon as the situation allows, added NGCP. | via Annie Perez
