AACCUP ONLINE ACCREDITATION | Opening Program Successfully Concluded! ✅

This morning, October 5, 2026, the Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) officially kicked off the AACCUP Online Accreditation: Preliminary Survey & 1st Survey Visit with a successful Opening Program via Zoom.

The program began with an Invocation and the National Anthem through a video-aided presentation, followed by the Words of Welcome delivered by Dr. Jay D. Telen, VP for Academic Affairs.

Key officials and the Accreditation Task Force were formally presented through video presentations, setting the tone for the days ahead. Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, University President, then delivered an inspiring message to the participants.

Dr. Annalene Grace E. Co, Coordinator for PSV & Level I Programs, presented the Statement of Purpose, outlining the objectives of the accreditation. The accreditors were also formally introduced before the program concluded with the JRMSU Hymn and a photo opportunity.

The Opening Program sets the stage for the activities ahead, as accreditors begin their briefing on the accreditation site and engage with the Task Force in breakout rooms.

Grateful and honored to have served as an Internal Accreditor for Area III – Curriculum and Instruction during the AACCUP 1st Survey Visit Internal Accreditation of JRMSU Dapitan Campus, held on September 23–25, 2026.

My sincere thanks to the Quality Assurance Office and the university administration for the trust and the opportunity, and to the College of Teacher Education of Dapitan Campus for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Accreditation is not just about documents. It is about our shared commitment to quality education for our students. Every visit is a learning experience, and I am thankful to have been part of this journey toward excellence. 💙💛

Today, September 25, 2026, the Quality Assurance Unit of JRMSU – Siocon Campus met with the Local Task Force of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program at the QA Office. The meeting prepared for the program's AACCUP Level I Accreditation Survey Visit, which will be conducted virtually via Zoom on October 5–9, 2026.

The QA Unit Head, Prof. Aiza S. Dalman asked for the status of the Self-Survey Report, Program Performance Profile, and the documentary exhibits for each area. Moreover, the duties and responsibilities of the Area Team Leader and team members were also discussed.

Thank you to the members of the Local Task Force for your time, dedication, and teamwork. Let us continue working together toward a successful accreditation! 💪

📚✨ Advancing Quality, Strengthening Institutions ✨📚

JRMSU-Siocon Campus was proud to take part in the 1st Workshop on Universities' IQA Implementation in the Philippines, utilizing the AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Version 1.3, held September 15-17, 2026, at Western Mindanao State University, San Jose, Baliwasan, Zamboanga City, as part of the Mindanao Cluster batch.

Representing the campus were:

This capacity-building program is a collaboration of the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat, SEAMEO RIHED, the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN), and AACCUP. It aims to strengthen internal quality assurance systems and practices among university administrators, supporting SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

We are grateful for the support of our Campus Director, Dr. Sergio A. Tabiliran Jr., and we look forward to applying what we learned to our ongoing quality assurance initiatives at JRMSU-Siocon. 💙💛

The JRMSU-Siocon Quality Assurance Unit joins the entire university community in celebrating the Level III Re-Accreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program, valid from June 16, 2026 to June 15, 2030!

This remarkable achievement reflects the strong leadership and unwavering support of our Campus Director, Dr. Sergio A. Tabiliran Jr., and the visionary guidance of our Program Chair, Ms. Jay Ann R.
