We act for many resident and non resident Landlords and offer the full management service if required, thus ensuring that the day to day supervision of the property is undertaken. Residential Tenant

The first step to a successful tenancy is to find a property through a reputable letting agent. Be expected by the Landlord to take up appropriate references and check on payment history if you have rented a property previously

During the tenancy (if managed by ourselves) we will need access for routine management visits that we carry out on behalf of the Landlord. We will also require access should any maintenance or repairs that may have been requested by you as the tenant need to be carried out. We look forward to assisting you with a successful tenancy with our company.

🏡 Always Learning, Always Improving

Yesterday, Samantha Grace and Lisa Patridge from Ray White Compass Rentals Mangawhai and Ray White Bogue Property Management headed to Head Office for a day of Property Management training focused on De-Escalation and Handling Conflict.

Our first session was with Sam Clarke from Response Rise, who delivered an interactive, in-person session packed with practical, real-world strategies for managing high-tension situations safely and professionally.

In Property Management, conflict is not always avoidable. Whether it is an upset tenant, a stressed property owner, a difficult conversation or a maintenance dispute, how we communicate and respond in those moments can make a huge difference.

The session gave us practical tools for de-escalating situations, communicating clearly when emotions are running high, maintaining professional boundaries and working towards constructive outcomes.

It was a valuable day of learning and another opportunity to strengthen the skills we bring back to our owners, tenants and wider communities.

Today our team had a fantastic catch-up with Michael Wu from Clear Mould NZ, who came along to tackle the sometimes fuzzy subject of mould and share some great tips on identifying, treating and helping prevent it.
Did you know?
Mould loves moisture, condensation and poor ventilation. Even a small water leak or excess humidity from a shower or drying washing inside can create the perfect environment for mould to get comfortable and move in.
And it’s not just about those unsightly black spots! Damp and mouldy homes are associated with increased respiratory infections, worsening asthma symptoms and allergic reactions, with some people more vulnerable than others.
A few key takeaways for keeping mould at bay:
🌬️ Ventilation is your friend
💧 Keep an eye out for leaks and excess moisture
🪟 Manage condensation before it becomes a bigger problem
🔍 Finding the cause of the mould is just as important as treating what you can see
