🚛💪 AS USUAL, ANOTHER WEEK IN THE BAG FOR THE MIBs TEAM!

Another busy week doing what we love! Amazing weather, amazing customers, and plenty of kilometres under our belts! ☀️🚛

We’re also pretty stoked to see our working relationship with Event Hire continuing to grow! What started out as providing an extra pair of hands has now developed into being trusted to transport some of their larger loads of event equipment and goods too!

It’s always rewarding when another local business puts its trust in us, and we genuinely appreciate the opportunity and ongoing support. 🤝

Then came a well deserved long weekend! ☀️🏞️

A bit of time away from the truck, spent with the kids, down at the river, surrounded by loved ones and probably eating far more food than necessary! 😂❤️

These are the moments that remind us what all the hard work is for.

We hope everyone managed to enjoy the sunshine, make some memories and, most importantly, have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!

AND DON’T FORGET… BIG THINGS ARE COMING FOR MIBs! 👀📦

From 1 January 2027, we’ll be opening the doors to our new home!

Alongside our moving and transport services, we’ll be introducing:

📦 A dedicated box shop for all your moving and packing supplies.

🔐 Storage options for those needing a little extra space.

🚛 Our new MIBs base, helping us continue to grow and better serve Central Hawke’s Bay and beyond!

If you’ve got a move coming up or think you might need storage in the new year, sing out! We’d love to hear from you.

As always, a massive thank you to everyone who continues to support our little business. Every booking, referral and recommendation helps us build something bigger.

Today’s effort is tomorrow’s foundation. 🖤

Another week smashed out 💪😎

Over 5 days we knocked over 9 jobs, all over the show battling the weather along the way. By the second wet day, the boss was about ready to hide in the truck and refuse to come out 😂🌧️

But Sunday came around, the sun was shining, and so was the love for what we do. 🖤

A massive thank you to all our clients for choosing Move It Bro’s and giving us the opportunity to help with your relocations. We appreciate every booking, every referral and all the local support!

📦 Remember, from 1 January we’ll have our own box shop and storage available! Keep an eye out for more details, and if you’re thinking about moving or needing storage in the new year, sing out. We’d be happy to have a chat and see how we can help. 💪

Another week of putting in the mahi. On to the next one! 🖤😎

😎 BIG THINGS HAPPENING AT MOVE IT BRO’S.

Sometimes building something of your own is exciting. Other times, it keeps you up at night, makes your stomach turn, and has you questioning whether you’re ready for the next step. 😂🖤

But that’s business, and sometimes you just have to back yourself, take the opportunity, and give it a go.

We’ve officially signed a short term sublease agreement starting 1 January, and we’re preparing to trial something new in Waipukurau Township: a box shop and mini storage facility, alongside our new business base and office.

It’s a big step for us, and one that comes with plenty of unknowns. Between last week’s jobs, the unpredictable weather, and everything happening behind the scenes, there’s been a lot going on. Things don’t always go to plan, but we keep showing up, putting the work in, and building towards something bigger.

Here’s what we’re looking at bringing to the table:

📦 A quality box shop. We’ll be offering good quality moving boxes that you can purchase whether you’re using Move It Bro’s for your relocation or simply need boxes for a move of your own. You don’t have to book our moving services to support this side of the business.

🔐 Secure storage. We’re looking at options for secure storage units and yard space, with potential storage solutions for vehicles, boats, motorhomes, and other items that need a place to stay. If you’ve been looking for storage in Waipukurau, we’d love to hear from you and find out what you need.

🏢 Our new base and potential office space. Waipukurau will become our new base, giving us an office and a place to operate from in town. We may also have an additional small office space available, potentially suited to someone wanting a presence in town, with road exposure and signage opportunities.

Right now, we’re putting the feelers out and wanting to hear from people who might be interested in any of these options. Your interest and feedback will help us understand what’s needed locally and how we can make this work.

We’re not pretending we have everything figured out. We’re taking a chance, backing ourselves, and trying to create something that can grow into another solid part of Move It Bro’s.

It’s a little nerve wracking, but nothing worth building comes without a few uncomfortable steps along the way.

To everyone who has supported us, recommended us, booked us, or backed what we’re doing so far, thank you. Every bit of support makes a difference, and we don’t take it for granted.

If you’re interested in storage, quality moving boxes, or potentially renting office space in Waipukurau, flick us a message. We’d love to hear from you.

Today’s effort is tomorrow’s foundation. 💪🖤

Another whirlwind week in the books 😎

Last week was full on, with plenty happening behind the scenes as well as out on the road.

A massive thank you to everyone who continues to support Move It Bro’s, whether you’ve booked with us, referred us to someone, or recommended us to your friends and family. It all makes a difference, and we appreciate it more than you know. 🖤

Shout out to the boys for continuing to show up, hold it down and put the mahi in week after week. The effort doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re already taking bookings into January, so if you’ve got a relocation coming up, get in touch and let’s get it sorted.

Thanks for being part of the journey. 💪

Another busy one last week had us out in the beautiful surroundings of Porangahau and getting stuck into a couple of smaller relocations.

We also kicked off the marquee season by helping out the team at Event Hire CHB with their first marquee of the year. It’s always good when local businesses can work alongside each other where it makes sense, and we’re looking forward to doing more together when the opportunity comes up.

Keep an eye on the Event Hire CHB page too. Claire does an awesome job with their social media, and there’ll be plenty of weddings and marquee setups popping up over the coming months.

As always, thankful for the boys and the mahi they put in. They give 100% every time, and our customers are always quick to let us know how much they appreciate it.

And with all that going on, it’s pretty exciting to realise we’re getting close to that 12-month mark for MIBs.

What a year. 🖤💪

Last week was a busy one for the MIBs crew. Five full days of mahi, a couple of big days in there, and plenty of awesome customers along the way. We put the work in from Tuesday through to Saturday and finished the week with a lot of happy customers and some solid relocations ticked off. A massive thanks to the boys for the effort they put in every day, to our customers for trusting us in their homes and giving us the opportunity to do what we do, and to our families for the support behind the scenes. We’re grateful for the support we’ve had and for how far MIBs has come. Another week done, another week building. 🖤💪

There’s something pretty special about the way our customers look after us throughout a relocation.

A cold drink when we’re working hard, plenty of water to keep us going, some good food throughout the day, or a couple of beers waiting for us at the end of a long one. It’s never expected and it’s never part of the deal, but it’s genuinely appreciated.

Relocations can be big days for everyone involved, and while our job is to take the pressure off our customers and look after their belongings, it means a lot when that care comes back our way.

We’ll always accept a cold drink or a feed, and water is ALWAYS welcome, especially on those big summer days. 😂

It’s the little things that remind us why we love working with good people in our community. The conversations, the laughs, the kai, the cold drinks and sometimes a couple of cold ones once the truck is back empty.

To all the customers who have ever offered us something to eat or drink while we’ve been working, thank you. We notice it, we appreciate it, and we’re bloody grateful for it. 🖤

It’s been a little while since our last update, so we thought we’d check in.

The last month has been a busy one behind the scenes. We’ve had a bit of sickness hanging around, some rough weather, and plenty of the usual small business stuff to work through.

But we’re coming out the other side and feeling good about what’s ahead.

Next week is looking sharp, the truck is ready to go, and we’re looking forward to getting back out there and helping more of our local customers with their relocations.

A big thank you to everyone who continues to support MIBs, whether you’ve booked us, recommended us to someone, shared a post or simply followed along. We really do appreciate it.

Spring is here and we’re looking forward to a good few months ahead.

If you’re planning a relocation, get in touch with the team at MIBs. We’ll be happy to have a chat and see how we can help.

Also, where were you last Saturday? 👀

Good to be out there slinging snags and juicy burgers for a good cause and supporting the fight against prostate cancer. We didn’t get around to posting about it at the time, but it was a bloody good day for a bloody good cause.

Hope everyone had a good Father’s Day too.

Today’s effort is tomorrow’s foundation. 🖤
