A few quick jobs can make all the difference:

✨ Clear the clutter – pop away the bits and pieces on kitchen benches, coffee tables and bathroom surfaces.

🌿 Freshen things up – open a few windows and let some fresh air in.

☀️ Let the light in – open the curtains and blinds to make the most of the natural light.

🧼 Give the bathroom & bedrooms a quick once-over – Tidy the beds, wipe down the basin, check the mirror and make sure everything looks fresh.

And remember, buyers aren’t expecting a show home. They just want to get a feel for how the space could work for them.

A look back at September in Cromwell 🏡

Septembers REINZ figures give us another snapshot of what was happening in the Cromwell property market, and there’s plenty to take from the numbers.

--
Owner-occupiers and first-home buyers were the most active buyer groups in September, while some investors adopted a more cautious approach.

Some vendor price expectations remained above market conditions, although vendors were generally prepared to adjust their expectations to achieve a sale.

Open home attendance remained steady. Auction activity was positive, with most properties attracting bids and many selling under the hammer or shortly afterwards.

Market sentiment remained broadly stable, with spring activity, economic growth and local employment opportunities supporting confidence.

Interest rates, household costs and the lead-up to the general election continued to influence decisions. Local salespeople are cautiously optimistic that confidence may strengthen following the election.
