Today, we met Bruce, whose uncle built the building that now houses our Barfoot & Thompson Swanson office.

Bruce shared childhood memories of visiting his cousins here before it became an office.

Proud to be part of such a great networking group.

What do you get when you put a real estate agent, a mortgage broker and an insurance adviser in the same room?

Turns out, a clever collaboration!

At , The Networking Group - TNG members are encouraged to catch up with each other one-on-one between our regular meetings. It’s where you really get to know people and start building relationships.

And three members of our New Lynn group have shown just what can come out of those catch-ups.

Mehak Trehan - Real Estate, Leon Zhang - Financial Adviser: Mortgages & KiwiSaver and Hetal Jani (insurance) have put their heads together and come up with a creative idea for an event. They've even given their new team a name, Keys & Cover.

The three businesses are a natural fit. If you're buying a home, chances are you'll need help with more than just finding the right property.

On Saturday 31 October, Keys & Cover will be at New Zealand Bed Company’s 40th birthday event in Westgate, Auckland, answering questions and offering free advice about buying a home, mortgages and insurance.

Of course, a birthday celebration means prizes and giveaways on the day too. And we really like the idea of holding it at a bed shop. If you're buying a new home, there's a good chance you'll be shopping for a new bed too!

This is such a good example of what can happen when networking is more than sitting around a table having a coffee once a fortnight.
