ICSAN CONFERENCE 2026 9TH & 10TH OCTOBER.

It was an awesome conference packed with knowledge. Nope it's not just the food that is great, and the professionalism, but the knowledge sharing was awesome. I kept taking notes like no man's business.

But a beautiful high point was when I stepped out to take some snapshots after most of the lecturers and I met my Professor. A very unexpected surprise! He was making a call. Moore Obasi . One of my favourite lecturers, highly cerebral. Did I mention he also reviewed my legal book. .

My leacturer flew from there to Abuja for another Imsu's Proffesor's SAN conferment ceremony and swearing-in ceremony. It was nice seeing him in Lagos ICSAN 50th Anniversary conference.

YOU ARE NOT LATE THESE ARE 5 REASONS WHY I TAKE THIS STANCE..

I remember asking myself one question that I couldn't easily answer:

“How did everyone get ahead of me?”

TRUE LIFE STORY.

TRUE LIFE STORY..

Do you know that, they can sell you a property that has no value or so much less than you purchased?

How?

So, one of my clients called me about a purchase. I went to check out the land, good price, added advantage, additional structure on it.

As is my custom, I go deeper than just checking boundaries and name. I went into verification.

Note there was a survey on this land, yet it would have been a waste of my client's money if I didn't do the needful.

The property in question has already been mapped out for a government scheme.

The seller is deceased, but bought as far back as 2007. Whereas he was lucky and now the family wants to sell to you, I can assure you, you are buying a land without value to you.

Because, soon and very soon, the real owners will come for it. God forbid it's on your first year of purchase, they decided to implement their scheme.

Always play safe with your investment.... Always.

Ask questions, involve knowledgeable people..

Note: some sellers may have gotten information that the government will be coming and they want to eat their cake and have it, so they look for those who don't want to go the extra mile.

May that not be you.

Delilah was not the first woman that Samson had affairs with. Delilah was just the one who placed the last nail on his coffin.

When I was a medical student, I met a 52-year-old woman who told me her story. She granted me the permission to share it but to keep her name confidential.

She started having premarital s*x at age 18, and by the time she was 29years old, she already had 8 abort!ons.

The 8th abort!on was the last she had and since then she did not get pregnant again.

In her thirties, she was ready to settle down and start a family.

As at the time I was talking with her, she was with the third husband; the first two husbands she had sent her packing because she could not get pregnant for them.

At age 52, she was ready to do anything to get pregnant, even if it is one more.

If she knew that the 8th pregnancy she aborted would be her last pregnancy, I am sure she wouldn’t have aborted it.

She made the same mistakes of Samson who did not know it was going to end the way it ended and at the time it ended.

Delilah eventually brought Samson's destiny to a sudden end.

Let me tell you another story;

I met a young man some time ago in my practice.

He has been keeping himself from premarital s*xual activities until one day his girlfriend came visiting him.

He lost control and slept with her.

Few days later, he was rushed by his parents to the hospital. He had Gonorrhea infection, his te**es were swollen and painful.

He was lying down on the floor screaming for pain; and shouting 'It was my first time o and I did it only once!'

When we say that you don't need a girlfriend or a boyfriend, you will be asking us why. We are only trying to caution you against preventable disaster.

When you decide to have a boyfriend or girlfriend that you both call yourselves 'lovers', you will be increasing your s*xual temptation and will make it difficult for yourselves to live a s*xually pure life.

Nollywood movies should not be your teacher. They always have girlfriends and boyfriends in those movies and you will see them living together even when they are not married. These actors and actresses should not be your role model. Let scriptural principles guide you.
