The delegation experienced Tatu Coffee, Kenya’s No. 1 coffee and a leading supplier to U.S. coffee brands, as well as a visit to CCI Kenya, the largest call centre in East and Central Africa, where teams based at Tatu City support major American and international brands. The visit reflected the historically strong and growing commercial relationship between Kenya and the United States.

100 learners. New skills. A future of possibilities.

Tatu City has celebrated the graduation of 100 Grade 7 and 8 learners from Tatu Primary School through the second and third cohorts of its After-School AI Programme.

From exploring AI-assisted learning to developing digital literacy and experimenting with emerging technologies, the learners gained practical skills for an increasingly digital world. Their projects and presentations at the graduation ceremony showcased what they’ve learnt and created.

The programme has grown fivefold since its first cohort of 20 learners graduated in 2025. With 120 graduates to date, the initiative aims to reach 1,000 young learners over the longer term.

Delivered through Tatu Reach and in partnership with organisations supporting technology education, the programme is helping more young people access the skills and opportunities shaping our future.

Industrial investment that strengthens Kenya’s essential supply chains.

At Tatu Industrial Park, within Tatu City’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ), businesses are building the capacity to serve critical industries across Kenya and the region.

More homes are coming to Tatu City.

International Housing Solutions Kenya has broken ground on Muzi Enzi, a KES 1.8 billion development of 406 green rental apartments designed specifically for the affordable housing segment.

The development will include 238 one-bedroom and 168 two-bedroom apartments, professionally managed by IHS Kenya and designed to achieve IFC EDGE certification.

This means the homes will incorporate features that support lower energy and water consumption, helping residents benefit from more efficient homes and lower utility costs.

Muzi Enzi responds to the growing demand for quality, well-priced housing close to workplaces, schools, amenities, and recreation as Tatu City continues to grow.
