🚨 PUNE HOME BUYERS, PLEASE DON’T IGNORE THIS UPDATE! 🏡
Maharashtra Government takes a strict step against unauthorised construction.
A major real-estate update that every homebuyer, property investor and seller in Pune should know about.
📌 What is the update?
As per the Maharashtra Revenue Department circular dated 12 October 2026, property documents may not be registered if the required approvals and supporting documents are missing, or if the flat area exceeds the area permitted in the sanctioned building plan.
🏠 What should property buyers check before purchasing a flat?
✅ MahaRERA registration, wherever applicable
✅ Approved building plan and sanctioned flat area
✅ Required construction permissions
✅ Occupancy Certificate (OC), where applicable
✅ Complete legal verification of the property documents
⚠️ Important: Registration alone should never be treated as a guarantee that a property is legally compliant. Always verify the documents with a qualified property lawyer before investing your hard-earned money.
📍 Whether you are buying in Kharadi, Wagholi, Hadapsar, Keshav Nagar, Baner or anywhere in Pune, property due diligence is essential.
