Your SIP is returning 12%. So why would you need a financial advisor? Rajdeep Sir’s answer: ask these 3 questions first
A follower recently asked us: if inflation is 6% and my SIP is giving 12%, why do I need an advisor?
It’s a fair question. But a 12% figure on its own doesn’t tell the full story.
What period does this return cover? One year, three years, or longer?
Is it your actual return, or the performance of a specific past period?
Does the investment align with your goals, time horizon and risk tolerance?
An advisor’s role is not to promise future returns. It is to understand your complete financial picture: your goals, asset allocation, risk and regular portfolio reviews.
The number matters. The context matters more.
