Well, it's finally here!

After months of hard-fought matches, dedication and some outstanding hurling, the stage is set for the Whitebox Limerick County Senior Hurling Final, as Kilmallock and Na Piarsaigh go head-to-head for the county title!

It's been a fantastic championship, showcasing the talent, passion and commitment that make Limerick club hurling so special.

At Whitebox, we're incredibly proud to sponsor the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship for the second year running. Supporting grassroots sport and the communities at the heart of the GAA is something we truly value.

We wish both teams the very best of luck and look forward to what promises to be a cracking final!

The Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme has a new name: the Starter Home Purchase Scheme. 🏡

At Whitebox, we’re particularly pleased to see this change. We’ve advocated for clearer, more relatable terminology around affordable home ownership for a number of years, and we think “Starter Home” gets it right.

Because that’s exactly what these homes are about: helping eligible buyers take that first step towards owning a home of their own.

A clearer name. A clearer message. And, most importantly, another pathway to home ownership.

Our latest starter homes are at Clover Lawn, Summerfields, Waterford.

115 new homes are now under construction at Autumnfields, Limerick. 🏡

The development sits alongside the new cancer treatment facility, bringing new homes close to healthcare, employment and essential services.

Autumnfields will include a mix of affordable purchase starter homes, Cost Rental homes and social housing.

The latest site photos show great progress from CField, with ground stabilisation works now complete and construction moving ahead.

A big thank you to the wider project team for their continued work and collaboration.

What was once a vision for Ballygrennan is now becoming a reality.

The new Cancer Treatment Facility is nearing completion, while construction of 115 new homes is well underway. Together, these developments represent a significant investment in the north side of Limerick City and will make a lasting contribution to the local community and wider region.

Reaching this point has been a collective effort. Today, we had the opportunity to welcome representatives from Limerick City and County Council, Cluid, Aedifica and most importantly, members of the local community who have been instrumental in driving change and investment in the area.

It was an opportunity not only to showcase the progress being made, but to recognise the important role so many people have played in making it possible.

On behalf of the Whitebox team, a sincere thank you to everyone who has contributed to the journey so far. It was a pleasure to welcome you on site and share first-hand what we have achieved together and what is now taking shape for Ballygrennan. Huge thanks to David Flynn for facilitating the site visit.

It’s a fantastic recognition for the Whitebox team and for the work we’re delivering across Waterford and the wider South East.

We’re proud to be part of Waterford’s business community and delighted to be shortlisted alongside European Regulatory Affairs and Shona.

A big thank you to our team, partners and everyone who has been part of the Whitebox journey so far.

We’re looking forward to the next stage of judging and to celebrating with all of the finalists in November.

Hoping to make Clover Lawn your new home? 🏡

Applications for homes at Clover Lawn, Summerfields, open on Monday 5 October.

The homes will be available through the Starter Home Purchase Scheme, previously known as the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme.

With strong interest expected, it’s a good idea to get your paperwork ready now.

Applicants may need documents such as proof of income, identity, address, PPSN, savings/deposit, first-time buyer status, Help to Buy eligibility where applicable, and Mortgage Approval in Principle. Waterford City & County Council advises that complete applications and their submission time are relevant to how eligible applications are prioritised.

This crane has dominated the Limerick skyline for some time. Now the project beneath it is really taking shape.

Great to see the progress at Speakers Corner, where 36 new apartments are now at roof level.

Delivered in partnership with Clúid Housing, the development will provide a mix of social, right-sizing and Cost Rental homes in the heart of Limerick.

Building on such a tight city-centre site takes careful planning and coordination, and it’s great to see that progress reflected on site.

Another important step towards delivering 36 much-needed new homes in Limerick City.
