Here at thedonkeyhut.com we’re absolutely delighted with our bespoke olivewood table lamp, purchased from Olga's Art Shop in Messonghi village, it’s a beautiful unique piece and we couldn’t be happier with it.

Olga is incredibly talented and it’s lovely to be able to support local artists and businesses here on the island. Her late father was also a very talented man, particularly proud with his beautiful paintings, so artistic talent clearly runs in the family.

Here are a few photos showcasing some of her wonderful work. If you’re ever in Messonghi, do pop in and have a look for yourself!

Daydreaming and quietly watching life go by in Corfu Town.

We spotted this lovely old building in Corfu Town the other day with its washing hanging out of the windows, I just couldn't resist taking a photo!

Ever since we installed the washing line at www.thedonkeyhut.com , we've developed a bit of an obsession with spotting washing hanging out to dry wherever we go!

It's the little things that make you fall in love with Corfu!
