This apartment has probably one of the best views in Nottingham.

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in West Bridgford, Nottingham, covers around 1,281 sq. ft. across two floors, it’s one of those places that feels so calm
and relaxed.

This is what you’d be coming home to:
🏡 A welcoming entrance hall that sets the tone

🛋️ An open-plan lounge and kitchen/diner, ideal for Sunday roasts, movie nights or having friend’s round

🛏️ Two well-proportioned bedrooms, with an en-suite to the principal

🚽 A separate WC, which you’ll appreciate when guests are over

☀️ A private roof garden of roughly 5.22m x 6.32m with stunning views of the river Trent

The roof garden is the real star. There’s room for a dining table, sun loungers and probably a barbecue too. Summer evenings up there? They will be hard to beat.
If you’ve been after contemporary living in a popular, well-connected part of Nottingham without giving up outdoor space, this could be the place.

We’ve had interest already, so don’t leave it too long to see it for yourself.

Is the market slowing down, or just catching its breath? 🏡

With the Budget landing this Wednesday, we’re seeing some buyers and sellers across Nottingham hit pause until they know what’s coming. That’s completely fair. Moving home is a big decision, and nobody wants to feel rushed into it.

But a quieter market isn’t a market standing still. Homes are still selling, from West Bridgford to The Park, Mapperley Park and Sherwood. People are still relocating, upsizing, downsizing and getting on with their plans.

In steadier conditions, the details matter more. Realistic pricing, strong presentation and sound local advice make a real difference to how quickly a home sells, and for how much.

Whatever Wednesday brings, the reasons people move won’t change. If you’re weighing up your options, we’re happy to talk it through, with no pressure.

Why not give us a call on.

We’d like to introduce you to Carisbrooke House, a detached period home in The Park Estate, one of the best addresses in Nottingham. It’s over 3,800 sq. ft across two main floors plus a cellar, with high ceilings, original fireplaces and loads of natural light. The photos don’t really do it justice.

The key features:
🛏 Four double bedrooms, all with en-suites. The main bedroom also has a dressing room and its own small balcony

🔥 A big lounge with a period fireplace and French doors out to the terrace

🍳 A Shaker-style kitchen with granite worktops, a pantry and a conservatory next door

📚 A downstairs room you could use as a study, gym or fifth bedroom

🌿 Landscaped gardens with a water feature and a terrace that’s perfect for summer evenings

🚗 Gated parking for several cars

You’re just a short trip from the city centre, the Castle and the train station (with regular trains to London St Pancras), but the estate itself is green, quiet and private.

One more thing: the top floor has two self-contained apartments on 150-year leases. We can talk about these separately.

Fancy a lazy Sunday morning here? Save this post, send it to someone who’d love to live here.

Under Section 21 of the Estate Agents Act 1979, the vendor is a founding Director of FHP Living.

If you’d like more details or want to discuss this stunning property, contact the office to arrange a viewing, or speak to me directly.

Imagine pulling up in Plumtree, a quiet village people hope stays that way, with a home right next to the cricket club. Not a bad thought, is it?

Well hold that thought and take a look at Edson and Thomas House: two architect-designed, five-bedroom homes from Gilbert and Hall Developments, an award-winning local builder. Think handmade bricks, aluminum windows and big bi-fold doors opening onto landscaped gardens and terraces. Summer evenings, sorted.

Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space is made for real life. The German Hacker kitchen has ceramic worktops, a Quooker boiling tap, Bora hob, built-in coffee machine and a w**e chiller (yes, really). Want some quiet? There’s a separate lounge with a log burner, a snug, and a properly finished garage with plastered walls and tiled floor.

Upstairs, five double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, three en-suites and a family bathroom. The main bedroom has a dressing area and its own private balcony, and bedroom two gets a dressing area too.

Running costs? Solar panels, battery storage, an air source heat pump and EV charging, with an EPC rating of A (98). Your energy bills should stay pleasantly low.

Plumtree gives you countryside charm with the city close by 6 miles to Nottingham, 4 to West Bridgford, top-rated schools, independent prep and senior options, and good transport links. The Griffin Inn and Perkins Bar & Bistro are just down the road.

Looking for a luxury family home in Nottinghamshire? Save this post and DM us, or contact Mark directly, he’d love to talk you through it.

Some homes just have a certain presence about them.

This one, tucked away on Tattershall Drive in The Park Estate, is exactly that kind of rare find.

Behind electric gates and a driveway with room for five cars, you’ll find a Victorian residence that’s held on to everything that made homes like this special, ornate cornicing, ceiling roses, high ceilings and fireplaces you just don’t see anymore.

Step through the porch (the original Minton tiles are still there) and into a grand reception hall that tells you straight away this is a different kind of property.

There’s a library with fitted shelving for the quiet mornings. A lounge with a marble fireplace and hand-painted ceiling detail for the evenings. A dining room with a bay window over the garden for everything in between.

Five double bedrooms upstairs, two with en-suites, and a family bathroom with a separate walk-in shower.

Two lawned gardens outside. A garage. Storage most homes simply don’t have.
Over 4,200 sq ft of genuine period character, a home in a location where people aspire to live.

This is the kind of home people wait years to find.

Ever walked into a house and thought, “yep, this is the one”? 🏡.

If you’ve been searching for a family home in Wollaton, Nottingham, this five-bedroom detached is worth a proper look. It used to be the show home for the development, and honestly, it still feels like it.

Here’s what you’d get:

🌳 A corner plot in a sought-after modern Wollaton development, close to Wollaton Hall & Deer Park and Harrison’s Plantation nature reserve. Weekend walks, sorted.

🚪 A generous entrance hallway, a downstairs WC and a spacious living room with a feature fireplace that makes winter evenings much more tempting.

🍳 An open-plan dining kitchen with a separate utility room, so the laundry stays out of sight.

🛏️ Five bedrooms upstairs, including a master with en-suite shower room, plus a contemporary family bathroom. No more morning queues.

💻 The garage has been converted and fully insulated. Home office, playroom, guest room or gym? You decide.

☀️ A conservatory with garden views, ideal for a quiet coffee.

Outside, there’s a driveway with parking and a front garden with mature shrubs. At the back, you’ll find a patio garden with established planting and flagstone paving.

It’s immaculately presented from top to bottom, so you could realistically move in and just unpack.

Think this could be your forever home? Drop us a DM and we’ll get a viewing booked.

SOLD STC: Oak Tree Court, Tollerton 🏡

We told you this property wouldn’t hang around long, and we’re not surprised. It’s a fabulous family home with room to breathe and lovely countryside views, in one of Nottingham’s most sought-after villages.

Tollerton gives you that peaceful village feel, and you’re still only a short drive from West Bridgford and Nottingham city centre. It’s the best of both worlds.

The whole FHP Living Sales team have done an incredible job. They handled everything from the first valuation and launch through to agreeing the sale and keeping things moving afterwards, and made sure our vendors and buyers were kept in the loop at every step.

Thinking of selling? Let’s have a chat. We would love to have a conversation
about how we can help move to your next home.

FHP Living, the Nottingham estate agency founded 25 years ago by Brian Fisher, David Hargreaves and John Proctor, has agreed the sale of its Lettings and Management division, led by Luke Pritchett, to Lomond Group, trading locally as John Shepherd.

David Hargreaves, who led the
negotiations, said:
“We’ve had several approaches over the years, but John Shepherd stood out as the right fit for our clients, and offers real career opportunities for our team.

He added:
“We’re keeping our Sales business and our flagship West Bridgford office, led by Jules Hunt and Jason Cook, and we’ll now focus fully on growing that side of things.”

Director Jules Hunt said:
“Last year was strong for Sales, over £1m turnover, selling 238 homes worth £130 million, mainly across The Park, Mapperley Park, the city centre and West Bridgford. We’re targeting 15% growth next year.”

Jason Cook, who heads The Park and Mapperley Park areas, said:
“We currently have 209 homes on the market, and we’ve already sold 147 this year, with 74 more agreed and in solicitors’ hands at an average price of £474,000. We’ve also appointed Mark Howard as Associate Director to help expand our reach.”

Director Andrew Chapman said:
“With our focus now on Sales, we’re pushing into Bramcote, Wollaton, Woodborough, Woodthorpe, Mapperley and the Vale of Belvoir, and looking for ambitious surveyors who share our ethos.”

Founder John Proctor added:
“Our aim has always been to value accurately and deliver a John Lewis level of personal service at one of life’s most stressful moments. Now we can bring that standard to a wider area.”

David Hargreaves concluded:
“As we grow, we won’t lose sight of our role in the community. FHP Living will keep supporting local schools and charities, including Emmanuel House, The Welbeck School, The Rosie May Foundation, PASIC, Footprints, Pulp Friction and Nottingham’s team at the 2027 UK Transplant Games.

And to every client, past, present and future, thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us, that trust is what this business has been built on, and it’s something we’ll always value and we look forward to helping you with your next home move.
