So, what actually is Yes Lets?

We get asked this quite a lot!

We're a Nottingham-based lettings & property management company. We find tenants, manage rental properties, look after landlords & manage apartment buildings. All the usual stuff you'd expect from a letting agent.

But there's another side to what we do...

We're also a social enterprise, which means we use the income from our property business to help create more affordable homes across Nottingham.

We buy properties, renovate them & rent them out to people who might otherwise struggle to find somewhere to call home. 🏡

And here's the clever bit...

You don't have to rent your property differently to make a difference.

You can use Yes Lets just like any other letting agent. Your property, your rental income, the same professional service. But by choosing us, you're helping us do something much bigger.

And if you're a landlord who'd like to be more involved in providing affordable housing, we'd love to chat about that too!

Another Yes Lets 💛

A lovely couple got in touch with us. They both work within the church and, because they have a home through their work, they’d started thinking about buying a property for their future and retirement.

But they also really wanted to find a way of using that property to do some good.

They’d never bought an investment property before, so we talked through budgets and rents, put them in touch with a trusted mortgage adviser and helped them look at properties.

When they found this one, we helped them work out what to offer — and actually suggested offering £5,000 less than they were going to.

It was accepted. Woohoo! 😂

Once they got the keys, we photographed it, got it advertised and arranged 7 viewings within a few days.

There was plenty of interest, but from our very first conversation they’d hoped their property could help a family who really needed it.

And that’s what they chose to do. 💛

A lovely family with three young daughters, referred to us through Nottingham City Council after living in temporary accommodation, have now moved in.

The girls have their own bedrooms, a back garden and somewhere they can settle at an affordable rent.

This is probably the biggest full journey we’ve been part of with a landlord, and we’ve absolutely loved being able to use all our years of property experience from beginning to end.

Usually we’re involved in one part of the journey. This time we got to be there for pretty much all of it.

And it’s been a really lovely one. 💛

Another new listing for Yes Lets!

A one-bedroom apartment overlooking the square in Nottingham city centre 🏡

T is one of our tenants and is clearly far more charismatic and charming than any of us at Yes Lets.

He’s great at DIY, but we really believe this could be his calling 😂😂

Surely this deserves a bit of love in the comments?! 👏😂

AUGUST- 22 TENANCIES AGREED 🔑🎉🏆

What an absolutely cracking month for Yes Lets!
Our best month so far 🤩

We have filled HMOs, moved families into homes, ventured into student lettings for the first time and somehow, now have just ONE room left available across all of our HMOs!

We have also been instructed to take over another 8 tenancies from another agent.

Vieiwngs in the evenings, weekends, bank holidays always being flexible and, as always, communication is everything.

Live video tours have been an absolute winner!

Very proud of the Yes Lets team💛

Now we just need some more houses… 😂
