What happens on install day? 🤖

We walk the garden first. Slopes, soft spots, tight gaps — anything the mower will have to negotiate.
We site the base station. It needs power, some shelter and a clear view of the sky…

We map the garden. We walk the boundary, mark out the different zones and set any no-go areas — ponds, beds, play areas or anywhere else the mower needs to avoid 🏡

Then we fully configure the system around your garden. That includes zone names, schedules, cutting heights, cutting directions, VisionFence settings, channel settings and anything else needed to make sure the mower works exactly as it should đź’Ş

We test everything. We check that it docks correctly, follows the mapped boundaries, navigates the edges and handles any awkward areas or access points properly.

Then comes the handover. We show you the app, where your schedules and zones live, how to pause or adjust the mower, what the alerts mean and everything else you need to know.

The handover is an essential part of the installation, so we’ll make sure you’re completely comfortable with the system before we leave 🤝

Installing one of the bigger machines in the range — the Segway Navimow X430 🏡

Built for larger lawns and more demanding gardens, the X430 gives us the capacity to cover serious ground while still delivering the precision you’d expect from a premium robotic mower 👌

As with every Roboscape installation, it’s not just a case of dropping the mower in the garden and switching it on.

We assess the site, position the base station, map the lawn, set boundaries and no-go zones, configure cutting heights, directions, schedules and zone settings, then make sure everything is navigating and docking exactly as it should 🤝

For a garden of this size, getting the setup right is just as important as choosing the right mower.
If you’ve got a larger lawn and want to know which model would suit your garden, get in touch with us today 📲

What happens when the mower gets stuck? ❌

It’s one of the most common questions we get — because the whole point of a robotic mower is that you shouldn’t have to constantly look after it.

That’s why a proper setup matters.

We map the garden, configure boundaries, no-go zones, channels and key areas, then check how the mower handles tighter gaps, edges, slopes and changes in level 🤝

If it comes across an unexpected obstacle, its onboard technology is designed to detect and navigate around it. And if something genuinely needs your attention, you’ll receive an alert through the app 📲

A robotic mower should make lawn care easier — not give you another job to do.

Grass growth starts to slow right down towards the end of autumn, but there isn’t a fixed date to stop mowing. It all depends on the weather and how quickly your lawn is still growing...🌱

For the last few cuts of the season, we raise the cutting height slightly. This leaves the grass a little longer going into winter, helping protect it from the colder conditions.

Once the grass has stopped growing, it's time to get the robotic mower ready for winter.

Here's what we do as part of our winter service 👇

- Give the mower a thorough clean, especially underneath where wet grass, mud and debris can build up.
- Inspect the blades and replace them if they're worn or damaged.
- Check the battery and make sure it's at the correct charge level for winter storage, following the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Disconnect the charging system and protect or remove the charging station and electrical components where required for that particular model.
- Check for and install any outstanding firmware updates, where appropriate for the model.

We also give the mower a full inspection, checking for signs of wear, damage or potential issues that could cause problems further down the line 🤖

The idea is simple: look after your mower properly over winter, and it'll be ready to get straight back to work when the grass starts growing again in spring.

A robot mower is a machine that lives outdoors for eight months of the year 🤖

Blades wear down. Wheels clog. Sensors get dirty. Firmware needs updating. Gardens change — a new bed, a hedge that’s grown, a fence panel moved — and the map needs to change with them. None of that is a fault. It’s maintenance, the same as any other machine.

The problem with buying one online is that when something needs doing, nobody’s coming. You’re in a support queue…❌

We install them, we map them, we service them, and we’re local. That’s how we work ✅

Not every robotic mower is built for the same garden, let us explain the difference👇

i2 AWD — from £899
Great for smaller gardens, softer ground and slopes up to 45% (24°).

i2 LiDAR / Pro — from £1,099
Better for trickier layouts, obstacles and areas where satellite positioning can struggle.

H2 — from £1,499
Our intelligent all-rounder. LiDAR, Network RTK and vision work together to keep it reliable around trees, walls and narrow spaces.

X4 — from £2,199
The beast. Built for huge areas, steep slopes, rough ground and serious terrain — even tackling obstacles up to 7cm.

The biggest mower isn’t always the right mower.

A small, enclosed garden with mature trees can sometimes need a more advanced machine than a huge open lawn.

That’s why we assess your garden first and recommend the machine that actually suits it 🌱

How long does a robot mower take to cut your lawn? It depends on the size of the garden — and the machine you’ve got ⏰

For smaller gardens, it can often complete the cut on a single charge, which might mean an hour or two of mowing.

For much larger spaces, it could be working for a good chunk of the day, often heading back to recharge before continuing where it left off 📍

That’s exactly why getting the right mower for your garden size matters. Larger machines have bigger batteries, wider cutting decks and are designed to cover more ground, faster and for longer.

We match the mower to the lawn, so you’re not buying something underpowered for the job — or paying for more machine than you actually need 🤝
