🐟A RARE CATCH - FISH FARM TO LET🐟

šŸ“Market Drayton

An established fish farm with a trading history dating back to 1976, Tern Fisheries Fish Farm is now available to let.

Previously producing up to 40,000kg of trout annually, the farm benefits from both borehole and river abstraction licences – a particularly rare and valuable combination.

Harriet and Annabel had the pleasure of attending an event with the Agricultural Law Association yesteday, hearing from Tullis and Edward Matson of Stallion AI Services and Twemlows Stud Farm.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the incredible work being carried out in reproduction, cloning and conservation, including efforts to help protect endangered species.

A particular highlight of theirs was meeting Big Star and Gem, a very special cloned dog! A huge thank you to everyone involved.

🌱 Supporting the next generation of rural professionals!

It's great to see our very own Becca Swinnerton featured as part of the CAAV's Route to Rural campaign.

From studying at Reaseheath College to joining Barbers Rural and progressing onto a Rural Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship at Harper Adams University, Becca's journey highlights the varied pathways into the rural profession and the opportunities available to those looking to build a career in the sector.

Route to Rural Week plays an important role in raising awareness of rural careers, showcasing the experiences of those working in the profession and encouraging the next generation to explore the opportunities it has to offer.

We're delighted to support this initiative and to see several members of our team sharing their experiences as part of the campaign this week. Investing in emerging talent and supporting professional development remain central to our approach at Barbers Rural.

It's particularly rewarding to see Becca's progression recognised, and we hope her story encourages others to consider the possibilities of a career in rural practice.
