**GNOME MANS LAND ON TOUR Lacemaker Court ** Housing 21

Today the gnomes visited the lovely people of **Lacemaker Court in Long Eaton**… and would you LOOK at them posing for the photo like absolute ANGELS.

What the photo doesn’t show is the chaos happening behind the scenes…

One tried to steal a resident’s cuppa and biscuit ☕, another was eyeing up the best armchair for a permanent move-in, and we’re fairly certain someone was caught trying to organise a **zimmer-frame Grand Prix.** 🏁 (we DID manage to get a sneak preview of this whilst they were pre occupied) 🤣

But then a few of the little sods mysteriously disappeared…

Turns out they’d **SNUCK OFF TO THE DCC OFFICE TO FIND PENNY!**

Word had reached Gnome Mans Land that **Penny LOVES the gnomes** and especially everything they’ve been doing with the ducks over at **Duck Pond Island**. 🦆❤️

So obviously they HAD to go and personally introduce themselves…

Although “introduce themselves” apparently means **storming the office like tiny celebrities expecting an autograph session.**

Thank you to everyone at Lacemaker Court for putting up with our little liabilities.

The residents garden is looking fabulous. Today was finishing the slate. The plants seem to be growing well despite the heatwave. The little touches that the residents have added makes it personal to them. So proud of what we have achieved.

Today is our last full day in Sweden. We travel to Demark tomorrow using the ferry. Sweden has is beautiful. The transport system excellent. We have found Sweden the cheapest of all the countries we have visited. Diesel is £1.49 a litre compared to £1.80 per litre in Demark, petrol slightly more expensive. We have had walking tours in Ahus and Gothenburg and also boat trips.
