A real before & after 🤎

From Rightmove to now. I genuinely think I’ve forgotten that it used to look this way!

The decisions are made… and I’m obsessed with our choices!

After comparing so many samples, we’ve finally chosen our window dressings with Blinds Direct

For our huge living room window, we’ve gone for Marseille Eggshell in Rustic Recycled Natural Linen. It’s such a beautiful neutral with a subtle shimmer that will add softness and warmth while making a statement across the whole window.

For the kitchen, we’ve chosen Vigor Anthracite blinds. We wanted something that would complement our white shaker kitchen and black quartzite worktops, while giving us the privacy we need without losing that lovely natural light.

Two different spaces, two different needs, but both choices work perfectly with the style of our home.

Now I can’t wait to see them fitted and watch these rooms come together. The finishing touches really do make all the difference!

The finishing touches that make a house feel like home🤍

We’re finally at the stage of our renovation where we can focus on the details, and choosing the right curtains and blinds was a big one!

For our kitchen, which faces the road, we wanted privacy without losing the natural light or making the space feel closed off. We also wanted something practical and easy to use every day.

Then there’s our living room window, which is just over 4 metres wide. We wanted curtains that would make a statement, add softness and warmth, help keep the heat in during the colder months and still complement the style of our home.

With so many colours, fabrics and finishes to choose from, we ordered samples from Blinds Direct to see how everything looked in our own space before making our final decisions.

Next up: the transformation🤍

Spoilt for choice!

When it came to choosing our curtains and blinds, I wanted to find something that would complement our renovation while keeping everything light, neutral and timeless.

Blinds Direct has such a huge range of fabrics, colours and finishes to choose from, and ordering free samples meant we could compare the options in our own home before making a decision.

From finding the perfect linen for our huge living room window to choosing blinds for the kitchen, getting these details right makes such a difference.

I’m so excited to share our final choices and show you how they transform both spaces!
