Tim Burton’s Universe by Mystery Ensemble is taking over the Concert Room inside St George’s Hall for a massive candlelit orchestral experience on Friday night.

Mystery Ensemble will be performing live arrangements of iconic soundtracks composed by Danny Elfman—think The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Co**se Bride, Alice in Wonderland, and Batman, all set inside one of the city's most breathtaking grand halls.

It’s right across from Lime Street, making it an ideal spot to kick off Halloween weekend before heading out into town.

River of Light is officially back starting tonight! 💡✨

The iconic outdoor light trail returns to the Liverpool Waterfront from 5:00 PM every evening, transforming the docks into a giant outdoor gallery.

This year's trail features 12 brand new illuminated installations from international artists, stretching across a 2km walk around the Pier Head, Royal Albert Dock, and Exchange Flags.

It’s completely FREE to explore and runs for 10 nights—the ideal evening walk with housemates before grabbing food in town or heading out for drinks.

Wrap up warm, get your cameras out, and head down to the waterfront! 📸✨

💙⚽ The Everton fan favourite is back as captain of Team Merseyside for , a huge Soccer Aid-style charity match bringing together Everton and Liverpool legends, global football icons, and celebrities.

They’ll be taking on a Rest of the World XI captained by World Cup & Ballon d'Or winner Rivaldo, featuring names like Cafu, Clarence Seedorf, Robbie Fowler, Leighton Baines, and Tony Bellew.

Beyond the football, there's a full fan plaza setup with live music, street food, interactive challenges, and a half-time performance from Tinie Tempah.

All proceeds are raising vital funds for Shelter and Everton in the Community to tackle homelessness across Merseyside.
