🏡 A complete transformation in Maghull, Liverpool!

From an outdated kitchen and conservatory to this stunning open-plan kitchen and dining space! 🔥

We completed this project earlier in the year, replacing the existing conservatory with a new single-storey rear extension and completely transforming the ground floor.

The finished space features a beautiful new kitchen with quartz worktops, a roof lantern, four-metre bifold doors and a newly laid patio, creating a bright, modern space that flows straight out into the garden.

📸 Swipe through to see the finished result and what it looked like before we started!

Week 8 & 9 – The finishing stages are now well underway on this kitchen extension build 🚧

Over the last few weeks, painting has been completed throughout the new open-plan space, while floor preparation and self levelling have been carried out ready for the LVT flooring.

The electricians have also been back on site completing the second fix, including spotlights, sockets and external lighting ahead of the kitchen installation.

Outside, work has started on the new patio and entrance areas to complete the external finish.

We’re still waiting on the final pocket door system before the remaining joinery and kitchen installation can be completed later this month.

Week 6 & 7 – The transformation is now really taking shape on this kitchen extension 🚧

This week the bifold doors have been installed, opening up the rear of the property and bringing the space together.

Externally, the extension and garage conversion have been fully rendered, completing the external finish.

Inside, plastering is now underway, with the space starting to feel complete.

The roof lantern has also been installed, bringing natural light into the new open-plan area.

The project is now nearing completion, with only final areas left to finish.

Next week second fix electrics begin, along with painting and the installation of radiators.

Follow along to see the transformation.

This used to be a garage… 👀

Now it’s a bright, functional playroom — giving this family the extra space they needed without moving.

Fully insulated, plastered and finished to create a warm, usable room all year round.

A simple conversion that completely changes how the home works.

Week 5 – The build is now watertight on this kitchen extension 🚧

This week the flat roof has been formed and finished with a full GRP covering, leaving the extension watertight.

Inside, the space is now fully opened up and the new floor slab has been poured and levelled.

At the same time, new windows have been installed to the existing property, completing the external works.

First fix electrics and plumbing are now underway, including the new boiler installed in the extension.

The project is now really starting to come together.

Next week the bifolds are fitted, plastering begins and the extension will be rendered.

Week 4 – The structural work is now underway on this kitchen extension build 🚧

This week the main structural steel has been installed, opening up the rear of the property ready for the new open-plan layout.

The steel was brought through restricted access, with underpinning carried out to form a pad foundation to support the new goal post steel.

Once in place, the steel was levelled and welded to complete the new structure.

Externally, the blockwork is now fully complete, and the new fence line with Venetian fencing to the patio area has been installed.

Inside the garage, the conversion has been fully plastered.

Next week the roof goes on, the slab is prepared, and first fix electrics and plumbing begin.

Week 3 – This transformation is really starting to take shape 🚧

We’ve opened up the ground floor by removing the existing kitchen and knocking through into the dining room, creating a new open-plan layout with double pocket doors installed into new studwork.

Over in the garage, the conversion is well underway with the space fully studded out and a new opening formed for the sliding doors.

There was also a slight change of plan this week, with trees and hedges removed along the boundary to make way for a new fence line.

Externally, the brickwork is now nearly up to height and the new fence line has been installed, ready for the Venetian fencing.

Next week we complete the external brickwork and finish the fencing.

Follow along to see the transformation.

Week 2 – The extension is starting to come out of the ground 🚧

Substructure brickwork now complete, forming the base of the new kitchen extension.

At the same time, the rear garden and side alley have been fully reduced and cleared ready for the next stage of works.

This project is really starting to take shape now.

Next week we move onto drainage and begin the garage conversion.

Week 1 – Full Renovation & Kitchen Extension 🚧

We’re back working for a repeat client, having built the front porch on this property a couple of years ago.

This project includes a single-storey rear kitchen extension replacing the conservatory, a full downstairs renovation, garage conversion, and front and rear garden transformation.

Demolition is complete and the foundations for the new extension are now in place.

Looking forward to seeing this one start to take shape.

Next week the brickwork starts.

From structural steel to a full open-plan kitchen extension.

This rear extension has completely transformed the back of the property.

With the steel installed and the rear of the house opened up, the space now flows into a bright kitchen, dining and living area with large bi-fold doors and gable glazing bringing in plenty of natural light.

Just the finishing touches left inside before the full reveal.
