Lichfield rents are up 7.5% in a year. Is your property keeping pace? 📈
Hunters Lichfield has published a new blog, "Lichfield landlords in October 2026: is your rental property achieving its full potential?".
It uses ONS figures to show the average monthly private rent in Lichfield is now £1,103, up from £1,026 a year earlier. That compares with 4.9% growth across the West Midlands. By size, the averages are £741 for a one-bedroom home, £967 for two bedrooms, £1,158 for three and £1,697 for four or more. They're district averages, so each property's rent still needs to reflect comparable local homes.
The blog also covers:
✔ Where rental demand comes from in WS13 and WS14
✔ How the Renters’ Rights Act affects rent increases, including Form 4A and two months’ notice
✔ Autumn maintenance checks before winter
✔ How to reduce costly void periods
Landlords who want more support can talk to Hunters Lichfield about letting and management options.
