We're pleased to be exhibiting at this year's National Fruit Show on Wednesday 4th November at the Kent Showground, Detling.

Members of the BTF Partnership team will be on Stand S13 throughout the day, ready to catch up with clients, answer any questions and discuss ongoing matters relating to rural property, land management and professional services.

🎯 Kent GWCT Charity Clay Shoot 2026

A fantastic day at the annual Kent GWCT Charity Clay Shoot on Friday 18th September, kindly hosted by Andy and Will Clark at Park Farm, Hawkhurst.

BTF Partnership were pleased to run and sponsor this year's event. A big thank you to fellow sponsors Kent Design Studio, Birketts, Chavereys and the Rose & Crown Pluckley. The event saw 24 teams come together for a day of friendly competition, all in support of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT). | | |

A special congratulations to the BTF team, Alex Cornwallis, David Sharp, Phil Ham and James Smith, who secured an impressive second place, hitting 273 out of 300 clays!

The day also included a barbecue lunch and charity auction, helping to raise nearly £20,000 for the GWCT and its important conservation work.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising and supporting such a successful event, and congratulations to The Swampies on taking first place once again!

Meet Ed, the newest member of our Heathfield team! 👋

Ed joins BTF Partnership as a Land Agent, bringing extensive experience in rural and residential estate agency. Having studied Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, he previously worked at Batcheller Monkhouse, where he latterly led the rural agency side of the business. 🌳

A member of NAEA Propertymark since 2018, Ed has worked across the West Midlands and the South East. He’s now looking forward to broadening his experience in rural surveying and land agency while working towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor through the RICS APC.

Outside the office, Ed is a qualified shooting instructor and professional loader, and enjoys spending time in the countryside with his two-year-old working cocker spaniel. He’s also a keen golfer at Goodwood, where he’s “still just about clinging on to a single-figure handicap”, and enjoys the estate’s motorsport and horse racing events.

Around 400 lots, a fantastic crowd and a memorable day at Adisham Court Farm! 🚜

Buyers gathered to wish Fiona Patterson and Guy Steward well on their retirement and bid on a wide range of well-maintained arable machinery, attracting interest from across Kent and further afield, including Northern Ireland.

Highlights included a Massey Ferguson 6480 DYNA-6 selling for £32,000, the Massey Ferguson Activa combine for £28,250 and a Vaderstad Carrier for £20,000.

A particularly special result was the Ford 4000, which sold for £3,800, with the vendors generously donating its sale proceeds to RABI and The Farming Community Network.

Richard Thomas and Mike Bax shared auctioneering duties, supported by the BTF team to keep proceedings running smoothly in the hot, dusty conditions. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the sale such a success. We wish Fiona and Guy all the very best for their retirement! 👏
