We operate seven offices in Somerset & Wiltshire, providing professional estate agency and surveying services to the residential, agricultural and commercial property sectors. We sell property by private treaty and by auction, we also run successful sale rooms, outside sales, provide housing surveys and professional advice on all agricultural matters including livestock auctions. We are fortunate to serve property and farming clients in a very beautiful and favoured area that encompasses the towns of Castle Cary, Frome, Glastonbury, Street, Warminster and Wells, taking in the Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels, Wiltshire Downs and the Blackmore Vale. 🏰 While our Castle Cary office is having a little makeover, our ladies have temporarily relocated to the magnificent Billiards Room at The Market House.

Reached via a stone spiral staircase, it might feel a little bit like the location for The Traitors... but don't worry, there's nothing spooky going on here.

It's the same friendly, helpful team, just in a different spot for a short while.

🏠 HOUSES FOR SALE! (Well... sort of.)

Our Shepton Mallet office has been taken over by a new team of property experts from St Paul's School.

As part of a special project, the children created their own property particulars, complete with floor plans, artwork and descriptions. Some included swimming pools, enormous bedrooms and probably a few features that would keep a planning officer awake at night 😆

The finished designs are now proudly displayed in our Shepton Mallet office window, and we couldn't be more impressed by the creativity, effort and enthusiasm that has gone into them.

We're not recruiting just yet, but we may have spotted a few future Cooper & Tanner colleagues in the making.

Thank you to all the pupils and staff who took part. We love being part of projects that connect with our local community. ❤️

🚜 Reminder – we have the dispersal sale of farm machinery and effects next week on Tuesday 27th October on behalf of RP & DL Cary at Dangerfield Farm, Buckland Dinham, Frome. This genuine dispersal arises due to the decision by Paul to fully retire from active farming and the farm having been sold by the auctioneers after 6 generations of occupation. The first member of the Cary family arrived in 1861 and the holding was farmed as a dairy unit up until 10 years ago when the herd was sold. The machinery has been well cared for which is evident by the photographs in the catalogue and predominantly owner operated up until this dispersal. Some lots have been entered by kind permission and attendance can be recommended by the auctioneers.
